It’s melodramatic and has over-squeezed action sequences… but I still like it! The bad guys are the kind you love to hate… and Cora is a good protagonist. Also the digital art is beautiful.

Everything up to Neo’s extraction was very clever - they even had a explicit rationale for pulling the nostalgia strings. But once Neo returned to the real world, everything got stinky real quick and stayed that way pretty much throughout. Dialog was lame, action was hard to follow, plot was nonsensical. If you love the original three, definitely give this one a miss.
