This game is very challenging and beating the level gives you the feeling of satisfication. The levels are very good, every level has something new to offer and it doesn't feel repetive. The score by David Wise and the visuals are amazing. The rocket barrel levels have been improved from Returns, making it enjoyable. The silhouette levels still are amazing like returns. It's great that you can play with multiple controllers. Collectables are not needed, you can play the game without collecting any of them, it's great that they give people the will. Water levels are great, actually enjoyable. There are a few missed opportunities like revealing that the final boss is King K. Rool, or that they didn't add more animal buddies, it wasn't a problem for me, but it could be for some people that played the original Donkey Kong games. Another small thing is that why would you use Diddy or Cranky if you could use Dixie. Cranky gets a pass for being different, on the other hand Diddy is a discount version of Dixie. 9.5/10, if you haven't played it yet, do it. It's probaly one of or the best 2d platformer of the decade.
