Amazing game. I don't work for nintendo but I want to respond to the bad reviews.
1) Nintendo made it purposefully so you have one island per console. It is common knowledge and it was said by the producers and directors of animal crossing.
2) It is so expensive BECAUSE video games are hard to make. Also, it is going to be hard to manufacture due to COVID-19.
