it gave a good insight into a topic that isn't that as thoroughly discussed in the media. Dedicating a whole show to the struggle of eating disorders and how it can destroy every relationship in your life, it was interesting and heart-wrenching. BUT this show was really bland in terms of writing and characters. It's missing something - it felt way to cliche in terms of love interests (i feel like same sex couples are just a default in every show nowadays, esp for the main characters who are first introduced as straight, but just suddenly have this sexual awakening and they're gay), friend groups (the token "gay" mood maker, the dumb one, the one friend that is closest to the main character, a bucket list. It all felt so similar and so unoriginal. It was very dragging and the dialogue came off very odd sometimes. It's shot very beautifully and the acting, esp from Sophie HITS man. But while this show shines light on a topic that is only mentioned a few times in other media, it doesn't bring anything new to the table.

Damn I haven’t seen the whole of the original Karate Kid movies, but mate this show was a ride :) the action was so entertaining, it’s pretty darn funny and the characters are pretty lovable - only when you reach season 2 and onwards, where every character was annoying me lol. Season 1 was a solid season, great introduction, good pace, story was easy to follow and was compelling. I personally didn’t like a lot about season 2 because some things were just questionable like some scenes where characters would jump out of character and such. Also does the law not apply to anytjing in this show? These kids get away with literally beating other kids to a pulp and yet nothing... I also do not like how literally all problems in this show from season 1 to 3, could be solved if they just TALKED. Literally. Enough with these interrupted and vague dialogue scenes please it’s INFURIATING. I got to say though, season 3 was an improvement from season 2 :) great cliffhanger for s4 but overall, a pretty darn good show! Nice time passer and definitely leaves you wanting to kick everything

I came in with absolute no expectations and yet I came out so disappointed and just felt like I wasted so much time. Pacing was dreadfully slow, the story and plot itself was really uninteresting especially for a dc movie - very little action and while it did have some emotional aspects, the ending was really unsatisfying, unrealistic and felt short cutted I just don’t know how this movie made it past the production point, it’s frustratingly bad

To a webtoon reader like myself, I was confused. And looking though the eyes of a new comer who probably has no idea what the story is about, no doubt they would also be confused. I feel like if I didn’t read the WEBTOON I would be totally lost. There are a lot of things I do not like about this show, like the questionable and recyclable music choices, dramatic changes to the plot and characters from the original text and some acting scenes but there are also a lot of things I loved - the cgi was surprisingly good, some actors like the mother was amazing and some additional factors that the director added himself were really interesting and well thought of. But it’s hard to love this show when so much of it has changed. Act 1 and first part of art 3 were amazing - great introduction to the series and the thug arc was really fun to watch. But the middle was just bad- pacing was slow, character interactions felt really artificial and rushed. Jun-hyeoks death scene was almost laughable because of the editing and the side characters faceless emotions. My biggest problem was the change in plot. Each characters desire wasn’t explained - they just got a nosebleed and that was it. They did really well with Hyuns backstory but not really why he became a monster. The government arc was ridiculous and by the end, it almost felt like Maze Runner where the simulation is finally complete or some sht. I understand that 10 episodes is nearly not long enough for this WEBTOON and the director had to shoe horn some aspects to create a shortened and interesting plot. But some decisions were really questionable. Nevertheless, there were aspects I loved and despised about this show, I can talk for hours about it, but it was an alright watch. Just disappointed.

Hmmm, I’m still not sure how I feel about this movie. One thing I loved was how it tied the beginning to the end - the ending narration was amazing, loved how it had numerous callbacks to bits throughout the film. However, the middle parts I still feel a bit jaded about - the pacing was slow and you are constantly thinking - “where is this going?” Some moments felt irrelevant or felt as though it just could’ve been written better. But as I said, the ending was nice - tied everything in a nice neat bow.

I knew from the beginning that this was going to be an emotional short film - but the issue it tackled, hit me out of nowhere. I don't want to spoil the experience for anyone, but it doesn't go in the direction you expect it to take. Beautifully animated, beautifully written and planned. Hit me right in the heart.

Lately, shows on Netflix and in general have been so dry and repetitive :) I've never felt this hyped and emotional about a show since Teen Wolf and Stranger Things - worth the watch! All episodes are pretty darn entertaining, characters and actors are AMAZING (especially Robert as Klaus and Aidan as Five) and the plot is really interesting too! Oh and the music, THE MUSIC. so damn good. One thing I must warn though is the episodes seem long at first, but they'll go just like that - so don't binge it all in one seating ... savour it :)

This show starts off really strong with the enormous help from Monty Oum, the show creator. Volume 1-3 are the strongest, and are the volumes directed by Monty himself. If you love anime with action packed fight scenes, a pretty good plot and lovable / hate-able characters, you will love this show :) You'll adjust to the new art-style of 3D animation, and quickly see how fluent fight scenes are, due to this style of animation. I'm afraid the volumes after 3 (4-6) are a bit lacking, which is why this isn't a 5 star review. But Volume 7 is much of an improvement from volumes 4-6. No doubt, there are good episodes within these volumes, but the fight scenes and dialogue aren't up to match to Volumes 1-3. But nonetheless, this show is great :D

nostalgic and scarred me when I was a kid... but watching it now, its not that scary lol
