Hope Stansberry

I've watched this show intermittently over the years it's aired. Always had kind of a disgusted fascination with it. How could those women share their husband like that and be happy? How could they not be jealous of the other wives? When I started watching, Robyn was the new wife. Cody met & wooed her & integrated her into the family of his already 3 wives. The other 3 wives were older, heavier and Robyn was younger, skinnier, prettier and Cody was obviously smitten with her. How could the other wives watch that and not be in pain? I totally do not understand. I always believed, though , that the other wives all had big issues with jealousy but they were hiding their true feelings for the sake of appearances. Dropping in the other day to watch the season 16, Episode 11 where they interviewed each one of them individually after covid caused separations of the individual families, I was incensed to learn that Cody has decided he no longer wishes to be intimate with Meri & Christine and he tells them so ! I suspect the same is true of his marriage to Janelle but she isn't going that deep that I saw. I am so mad at Cody for his arrogance and selfishness ! So easy for him to nonchalantly decide he's not interested in intimacy with these two when he has his younger, more attractive and MORE COMPLIANT wife, Robyn to be intimate with, while the rejected wives are left alone without any intimacy, comfort or consolation from their husband. The nerve of that selfish man ! He wanted all those wives and it's his belief system and now, when his desire changes-so does his faith??? I do not respect that ! His God is between his legs ! Always has been! Not to even mention the poor, innocent children he has FATHERED but not BOTHERED to stick around and be a father to because he is playing favorites with Robyn and her children. The other kids are not stupid. They see it and feel it and it hurts them. What a shame ! This is also why polygamy is not supported by the New Testament ! The husband of ONE wife, it says...and Cody Brown certainly is only that, at this point--a husband to Robyn. I want the other wives to see how selfish he is, divorce him and leave him to Robyn where his heart is anyway. If he truly believes in polygamy, he has lost his integrity and his faith. He should forsake it, ask forgiveness of God and the other wives and be content with Robyn only. Please, Janelle and Meri--see how badly he is treating you & move on! You both deserve better! So do your children! Christine figured it out & has had the courage to remove herself. Way to go, Christine! I hope she finds love & contentment.
