Enoka Uale

Probably the worst sports movie I’ve ever seen. It’s basically one really long commercial for Clemson. Spoiler alerts ahead... Once you think you understand the plot, they take a hard left and set up a completely different plot. They introduce some very scary characters in a scene with a huge amount of tension and then you never see those characters again. The love story is so disjointed and doesn’t even finish an arc. The teammates asked to help with the brother situation are just expected to go above and beyond without so much as even a “thank you.” There are themes, characters and other potential storylines that get introduced but are never fully developed throughout the whole film. It drags so much that I would’ve turned it off if other people weren’t watching it with me. This seemed like a film students project that was his/her first attempt at writing a screenplay and somehow got funding. I wish I didn’t waste any time watching this.
