By some sheer great fortune, I'm so happy I stumbled upon this movie. I had no idea what I was signing up for but turns out I couldn't be more grateful to its creators for putting this one out there for people like me, who in this phase of their lives, need content that goes against the usual romantic trope. The movie captures an important central theme and despite my forebodings manages to do a brilliant job at subverting the very sub genre it promised to avoid. For people who have not been single and tend to fall in love rather easily (which honestly is most of us), Ana's story does a great job at reminding them the importance of knowing yourself in the most realistic non cliched manner. She doesn't just swear off men all of a sudden and go on a spiritual quest to find herself. Resembling reality more closely, her character falls in love with multiple different people in her journey which finally culminates into her understanding the true meaning of wanting to be alone. Not because the men she met were bad, they simply were not right for her in their shared phase of life. We all need that time in our lives where the only relationship we pour into is the one we unconsciously seek to avoid - the one we have with ourselves. There were moments I was scared that the movie would end up being a story about black and white characters who have a complete change of hearts and where, despite the premise, the characters would all receive a happy ending that culminates into they ending their singledom. But the movie expertly circumvents the concern and stays true its cause. Would highly recommend this movie to everyone. The ones who enjoy being alone and the ones who are scared to give that a chance.

If you're going to watch this movie expecting the unexpected, a classic Christie thriller, then you'd be foolish to not have understood that this isn't the movie for you in its first 10 minutes. This movie is a genius work of art. It is a satire that does a brilliant albeit hilarious job of mocking itself and everything the characters in it stand for. I cannot fathom the creativity of its makers and i wish to salute the team that could pack so much in just a little more than an hour and a half. The jokes are funny, the comedic timing is brilliant, the actors were par excellence and even the mystery keeps you hooked and guessing for the entire duration of the movie. There's no second that you wouldn't like in the movie. Please do yourself a favour and watch it especially if you love the mousetrap.

I absolutely loved this movie. Perhaps the last quarter of the movie was slightly unrealistic but the other parts of the movie more than made up for it. The cast is stellar, the cinematography is excellent, and it does a great job honoring the spirit of Edgar Allen Poe. What stood out to me about this movie was its screenplay. I just finished watching this movie for the first time and I already know I will undertake the experience a second time just to revel in the dialogues. Each line, each word has been written with careful consideration, and for someone like me, who enjoys a well-written drama, this ticked off all the marks. I would highly recommend you to watch this movie, especially for its writing.

I have been listening to this album for days on loop. I have not got bored of the songs yet, in fact, every day I discover something new. Such is the genius of Bo Burnham, the greatest thinker, singer, actor, director, writer, comedian, human, of our time. Since he was 16, he's produced one masterpiece after another, and a lot of people like me are indebted to him for giving us so many magical moments to cherish. The whole Inside special is 1.5 hours of sheer brilliance, the kind of brilliance and wit that's once in a lifetime. I cannot admire this guy more, I cannot get enough of this special and the songs, and I surely cannot recommend it enough.
