I think they were trying to do a "Love Actually" style of movie but just couldn't pull it off. We watched to the end, simply to see where it headed. It fulfilled the Other Disasters part of the title, although in fairness it wasn't that bad, it was watchable in a slow train wreck kind of way. Probably the worst role for Diane Keaton who did a bad job of playing a blind woman. Not recommended.

I love elephants and the African scenery, but otherwise it was a bit of a boring movie.
