As a fan of the books and video games. Henry Cavill plays true to the character, doesn't miss a mark. Beautiful cinematography. Story-lines are different, familiar but redirected to work better for a show. Definitely adds a lot of background to some characters, I really like what they have done to with Yennefer, Anya gives you them feels.
If you like the characters as you have come to know them you will not be disappointed. Geralt is short with words, direct, and has a brunt wit. Henry Cavill got the Geralt "brooding" look down.
