Absolute peach of a movie. Film skillfully presents the travails of poor labourers struggling to meet ends. Best work of Mari Selvaraj till date, for sure. Out of the world acting by that lead boy, especially in that scene when he gets beaten up for eating a banana. Deserves a national award for sure. Awesome visuals especially the aerial shots, creating a poem on the screen. Scintillating BGM by Santhosh Narayanan lifting the movie a notch above. All supporting characters, the boy's friend, Kalaiarasan, Nikila, mother and sister characters, were all very good Overall a hard hitting movie which pulls your strings and will take some time to come out of it. Kudos to Mari Selvaraj and the entire team for a fabulous movie, deserves a standing ovation 😍😍😍

First of all kudos to the original Manoj Kumar Sharma who fought against all odds to become an IPS officer. Hats off to the director Vidhu Vinod Chopra for bringing out this true story in a poetic way and not being too melodramatic. Vikrant Massey was absolutely fantastic with his portrayal, definitely an award worthy one. Overall this film taught us many things and is must watch for the younger generation to know the value of honesty and hard work. 5 stars for this movie, nothing less 👏👏👏

An amazing effort to bring some facts out of Mr.Nambi Narayan's life. If the treatment meted out to Mr.Nambi is as depicted in the film, then the nation owes a big apology to him. A true patriot who refuses a juicy offer from NASA is so easily hooked in an espionage case is shocking to say the least. Even though he was finally declared as innocent, the life he and is family lost can never be got back Kudos to Madhavan for this attempt and all the technicians behind this must watch movie.
