I thought that the first resident evil movie (a separate series of films from this one) was fine as far as fan fair went, the ones that followed were similar to that of the fast & furious franchise in that they continued to be bigger and bigger disappointments or money grabs.
This movie was a failure and not because of the inclusive casting or anything like that. It felt like someone who watched YouTube video highlights of some resident evil let’s plays and decided to mash together a movie.
The video game movie continues to fail.
