Do not waste 2 hours of your life to watch this movie. It is one of the worst movies I’ve ever watched. Whoever said this is “one of the best movies of the year” surely has to go to the eye doctor and possibly inquire with a psychologist. The movie seems like a parody of Princess Diana’s life played by Bella Swan. Kristen Stewart cannot do an English accent to save her life. It portrays Diana as a neurotic, out-of-control crazy person that suffers from severe psychological issues. As a fan of Princess Diana, this movie completely portrayed her in a negative light. The only redeeming scenes were those with her children, but even those at times portrayed her as a bad mother. The scenes with Anne Boleyn were absolutely ridiculous to the point where the movie should have been titled Spencer, Boleyn. They added nothing to the movie and just promulgated her appearance as an insane character. I truly could not wait for the movie to be over to leave. I hope her children or living family never see that movie as it is horrible. As one of my friends put it “the movie is like a bad acid trip.” Save your money and your brain cells and stay home.
