I rather enjoyed the ride. It's a comedic tale about a faux family, a group of four cash-hungry individuals setting out on a mission to appease David's supplier. Despite the fact that I'm not typically a fan of roadtrip stories, I was attracted to this film because of Jennifer Aniston, and I'm glad I gave it the chance. Although it's not the most hilarious film I've ever seen, it definitely did make me chuckle. The story develops at a fairly decent rate, without enough surprises along the way to keep building the suspense.

I feel no fear, and only see the beauty of this masterpiece. Both being a great fan of the amazing Robin Williams and having seen the second Jumanji film recently, I felt compelled to revisit the original film to see if it was still as fabulous as I remembered it to be from a few years ago. I was not disappointed! Although several decades old now, Jumanji ages remarkably well, with an incredibly fun story about a magical boardgame that brings the jungle to a family home. Of course, Robin Williams is utterly incredible, and I dare say that this is one of his most entertaining performances. If you haven't seen Jumanji, then I cannot recommend enough that you postpone whatever you planned to do with the rest of your day and watch the beautiful movie instead.

I'm thrilled to be able to say that it was incredible! I was worried how they would weave so many of the Proclaimers' songs into the narrative without making it sound forced or even cheesy, but the finished product is exemplary. There are some gorgeous shots of Edinburgh and Glasgow, all of the characters are likeable, and there's a perfect blend of heartbreaking emotion and incredible laughter. It'll tug at your heartstrings one minute then have you dancing around the room the next. Sunshine on Leith is everything I'd hoped it would be, and more.

Barrie's Peter Pan, I always love a literary biopic, and I'm a bit in love with Johnny Depp, so Finding Neverland sounded right up my street. Thankfully, I was not disappointed! It depicts the story of Barrie's encounter with the Llewelyn Davies boys and the journey that eventually led to the creation of Peter Pan, arguably the most notable of the writer's works. There's an incredibly heartwarming moment on a bench between Depp's Barrie and Freddie Highmore's young Peter that is sure to make you cry, and the way in which the movie represents Edwardian London and its society is breathtaking. If you can't find Neverland, at least find this film; it's a stunning masterpiece, and I can't recommend it enough.
