It was an easy read and while not captivating it held my interest. I liked most of the characters, especially the mother, but some of the characters felt unnecessary and just there for filler. The mystery became easy to solve midway and the ending was slightly disappointing. One major aspect of the book that I disliked was the chapters flipped from the previous year to the current year. I don't like this style of writing so I skipped parts of the story but I was still able to follow the plot. Is this a story that will blow you away, probably not but if you have time on a quiet rainy day and nothing else to read, then grab a glass of wine or some tea and a comfy chair and find out what really happened "The Night She Disappeared"
