I love this Christmas story. It is so touching how thoughtful the characters in the story are. I don't want to say who or why because that would need a spoiler alet! But, if you are looking for a fun Christmas book to give your first or second grade child, this is the book for you. Also younger children will appreciate this book as a bedtime reader in the Christmas season. I loved reading it to my friend's child.

This a fun adventure chapter book that explores the value of appreciating our differences and working together. The adventure these two young cousins encounter are moving and develop a sense of excitement. The illustrations in the book are crisp and represent the exciting path these two boys take through the tumbleweeds and mesas of a dusty ranch in Texas. The author descriptions of the terrain made me feel like I was there.

This is a fantastic book for young readers and adults alike. It explores prejudice outside of our cultural context. The fish in this story are well illustrated and teach us to look at others in just loving ways. I think it is a great way to introduce your child to the importance of respecting others and supporting others who might not be the same as ourselves.

This is an awesome book! I love the colors! The book is a must have for all first grade libraries. Every page has fun illustrations that make the reader really imagine and think out of the box. It is fantastical and artistic, and just plain eye candy. Perhaps a nice addition to your halloween candy basket. Many children would love to get this book as much as candy. And they will read on Halloween!
