DI Poole is primo. A fish out of water crossed with Basil Fawlty. DI Goodman is more like Columbia, solving more impossible crimes than all of Scotland Yard. DI Mooney is a philosophical yarn-spinner who assures everyone that he's not really investigating them. The program reinvents itself as the police solve impossible crimes. The characters are all charming... especially the commissioner, who is always involved in political intrigue. More than interesting, the show is fun and engaging.
