So awful it's toe-curling, embarrassing and painful, it makes me cringe, it's such a travesty Tolkien would turn in his grave In fact if Sauron existed, this is what he would do 😂

Funny, violent, really great cast, great car chases, explosions, great soundtrack what more could you ask? A lady psychiatrist, the only major female role, who is quite enjoying the excitement but can't stop the psychobabble, hilarious. Loved it

It's hard to imagine how films like Barbie could seriously be considered for Oscars. This movie explains it. Whatever the disadvantaged group, the same need to control the narrative. Great script and cast subtle humour gently delivered, but with bite.

Very self indulgent turgidly boring, completely lacks the depth, eye popping production, scale or genuine profound issues of the various sci-fi movies it references. If you want a really superb movie about a childless marriage try Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf. The physical beauty of the two actors doesn't begin to make up for just how empty and draining this film is

Takes a true amateur crime story, adds a great script and cast, with quirky humour

Mr Ripley goes to Brideshead. I especially liked that all the characters except Felix himself are pretty loathesome. The golden boy is the real thing, so has to be destroyed. I've been trying to work out the intention of the minotaur statue at the centre of the labyrinth, & Felix's angel Icarus wings. Are they just randomly placed?
