I think is great to bring in a young audience. But if Netflix really wants banger of a show, they need to remake the anime and bring it up to today’s anime standards. Ironing out story plot holes and taking advantage of the epic potential in using Greek mythology. Saint Seiya has the potential to be the number one anime series in the US and world wide too. Bigger than it was in the 80s and 90s. They have great characters, and an intriguing story, and Greek mythology. The series just has to be brought up to today’s anime standards, it has enough depth in its characters and story to be as dramatic and intense as “Attack on Titan”, and the fighting dynamic could be explosive, innovative and brutal as “one punch man”. Don’t forget the marketing with the potential new toy/action figure line, if they just redesign the armors but not too much just enough to create a new line of figures. Maybe just Sprinkle a little extra Greek-ness on, you know keeping them ancient but mystical. And there you have it the formula to bring back Saint Seiya the right way, bringing in new and old anime fans. Netflix if you’re interested in more saint Seiya ideas call me.
