Love the music, humor, visual style, fresh take, etc.

This movie was SO epic. I loved the historical references, the art style, the humour... I liked the friendship between April and Julius, its evolution felt very natural, as did that of her parents and the two lizards. And the twists were so good! The designs of the environment and machinery were beautifully detailed and creative, they felt reaI but still fantastical. I did cry very hard at the ending, but that is a GOOD THING.

The animation for this movie is so expressive and fluid, and the characters are so likeable (including the villains!), especially as they change and grow closer as the movie goes on.

I just rewatched this for the first time since I was very little and it's SO GOOD... It's funny and sweet, and I love all the characters so so much!! Plus, the watercolor backgrounds are beautiful and the character design is top notch.

At first, I was thinking, "Oh, this is intriguing... I wonder where it's going with this?" And then I realized it wasn't going anywhere at all. I think the only reason it doesn't have a rating of zero (it's around the 50/100 mark averaged out) is because it's "artsy".

BROOOO.... the subverting of comic book tropes... the animation... the aesthetic... the characters, the alien designs, the GROWTH!! I love this show so much.

I like this movie very much! It's funny, not too long, and I loved all the characters. There were so many moments that left me thinking, how did they do that?? and I love that! The sequence where he rides on the handlebars of a motorbike, or when he bounces a pool ball over another ball with the stick, or when he finds the bad guys... mwah!

Dude, this is one of the GREATEST shows I've watched on Cartoon Network (they're all great, but, you know). It's a very informal, cartoony art style (think... early Season 1 of Steven Universe), very expressive. The storylines are compelling and sweet, as are the characters. It's too bad it had such a short run, but oh well!
