I just can't get into it. I'm 14 and yeah the show is directed at kids so I got my younger (11 year old) sister to help me with this because we've both been fans of the series since we were really young. After watching the older tmnt series and movies I was really reluctant to watch the 2012 tmnt, but it ended up definitely being probably the best show I had and have ever watched, even though I'm not really into tmnt anymore. When I heard about the new tmnt and saw their designs I thought I could at least deal with it, but when I saw Splinter's design, especially after (spoilers) he died in the previous series I felt so disgusted because he had always been a sort of role model for me when growing up. I decided to watch it nevertheless. I was kind of disgusted by it. I (the younger sister) hate it when shows try to "relate" to our generation and just riun things by making them cringey. Like bro wtflip even is this new show. And yeah I also hate that it gives off major ttg vibes, Raph in the old series was nice bc he was actually a sweetheart sometimes, I don't know why but I feel like they ruined my boy Mikey, they messed up the heights so much compared to all of the previous shows and they look so ugly. I'm definitely not getting into this show and while I do appreciate their efforts and animation and all their hard work, I just don't like it. I hope you all enjoy the show and support the team's efforts but it's really not doing it for me.
