Regardless of the bad acting, campy cheesy dialogues(typical of the series anyway), poor character developments and rushed story telling. The fan service fatalities, fight choreographies, SubZero himself and the Hanzo vs Bi Han climatic showdown still made up for it and entertained the hell out of us real Mortal Kombat fans who grew up playing the entire series!
