Quite possibly one of the best album's and recordings of all time. The level of musicianship and technical recording prowess rarely seen outside of audiophile jazz recordings made for reference speaker calibration. There are few albums with as many guest musician laureates and vocal hero's on the recordings. Every song has an entire new band behind it as Steely Dan was really only 2 guys (RIP Walter) and they possessed a gift few were ever given. I can't say enough about this album and the 2 men that created and forged it. Any list of the greatest American songs/albums of all time should include this album along with Chicago Transit Authority and Coltrane - A Love Supreme.
