I loved watching the references to the pacific cultures. The water tribe closely relates to the Maori culture with indeginous New Zealand plants in the forest and noticed the pink and white terraces (which are thermal rock pools) that used to be a tourist attraction in nz before the Tarawera eruption. The whales and the hunters is also closely related to nz history and how the indeginous had close spiritual relations with the whales. Many patterns and tribal tattoos, including the Maori moko was added in the movie. And Maori outfits which I loved to watch. This movie reminded me of the first avatar. Where the first avatar was exploring the forest tribes culture. But the second avatar was exploring the water tribes culture.

I love this drama so much. This is the first historical kdrama that solely does not focus on romance or action. It is so wholesome and details the mothers love for her children. This empress is different from the usual strict, less to no contact with her children in the palace. She actually cares for them and does whatever it takes to protect them in the way she believes it is right. Drama is great, romance is great. I honestly wish there was more of an after story. Ik the last episode did that great, but I need to know what happens maybe 10 or 20 years into the future from the last episode. There were so many character developments and plot twists. This was like a breath of fresh air and funny. The empress is such a great actor. She remains in a composite manner but also portrays as for always showing that she loves and cares about certain topics. Oops spoilers

The movie was pretty boring to watch. This is my first time watching A Jurassic park movie and was not impressed. There were a few glimpses when it was a bit exciting, but it quickly ended after 5 minutes. It wasn’t that nerve racking when they snuck into the basement levels to get a sample. The girl who got kidnapped her acting was unlikeable. Her accent has also got me confused about the whole family situation. There was no comedy, no suspense, other than editing in some dinosaurs.
