Genuinely funny, beautiful animation! The soundtrack was different from the first but still very enjoyable and well done! I cannot comprehend the negative criticism of this movie- it was fantastic?! I think it is as equally a standout film as the first, especially if you separate them as their own works.

****IMPORTANT****DO NOT WATCH WITH ENGLISH LIP-SYNC! Watch it in German with English captions. (You can do this in the same setting where you would select closed captioning.) It makes a huge difference in the emotion/ overall viewing experience. AMAZING show. I’m sitting here marinating in my emotional roller coaster while frantically checking to see how long before season 2. It’ll be awhile. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this. Absolutely 1000% worth reading the subtitles and experiencing the raw script.

The animation was unique and very refreshing. The storyline was great and had the capacity to resinate with a vast audience. Although not the cliché happy ending- I think this movie provided a very fair and thoughtful conclusion. I absolutely love it. I hope there are more missing Links to come!
