Do not waste your time with this book. Truly its Kalyug where such mediocre writing and storyline is promoted a great deal. One of its reviews says ‘ huge, epic, immersive and absorbing’. I am sad to report its none of that. Its excruciatingly boring. The reader invests in the characters throughout this huge book only to find out that nothing really happens to any of the characters. This book makes no point, absolutely none. I finished it only because i wanted to know what happens to Ajay. Nothing. Nothing happens to him. He is just taking a bus to the hills. The author was tired by the end of it seems. My god what a waste. Why was it allowed to publish, i wonder. Save your money and time. Skip it.

The first episode is fine but it gets painfully slow soon after. The writing is dry and doesn’t stir anything in the viewer. I wasn’t feeling bad for the characters (which they were trying really hard), wasn’t invested in them nor had any inclination to find what happens to them. There is not enough meat in the story for 8 long episodes. It could have been a mini-series of racy 4 episodes. But it’s not. Incredibly boring. Skip it.
