Immensely disappointing considering the potential the movie had, a stellar cast coupled with a promising sci-fi neo-noir premise. Unfortunately, all of that is wasted on a plot that is too unfocused, jam-packed with too many elements, held back by its agonizingly slow pacing, making it hard for the audience to care enough about the characters. Pros: -Hugh Jackman rarely disappoints. He pretty much carried the movie. -There are some interesting concepts in the film, typical of the creators of Westworld. - Good chemistry between the leads (Hugh Jackman and Rebecca Ferguson (for however long she is on screen)) Cons: - Mishmash of many different genres, too unfocused. - Worldbuilding is largely superficial (Loads of lost potential) - Slow pacing - Thandiwe Newton's presence is wasted. Overall, not the best way to spend 2 hours of your life.

The most 'Suicide Squad', Suicide Squad could be - mind numbing action with very little consequence. Definitely better than the colossal wretch that was the first Suicide Squad, then again that isn't saying much. Cons: -The stakes weren't high enough. -The 'Big' bad was only big in size, short on motive. -Too many throwaway characters were introduced for the sake of comedy. -Half baked subplots forced into the movie, again with little to no consequences. -Peacemaker, yes. Xuan Cena is never going to be the new 'Rock'. Stop trying to force it Hollywood. Man can't act, it's not his fault. -Harley is still annoying and insignificant as ever. Major character overhaul is needed. -Erratic story pacing. -The novelty of blood and gore dissipated quickly, becoming a bit over the top towards the end. Pros: -Good chemistry amongst the squad members. -Satisfactory character arcs for Bloodsport, King Shark and Polka-dot man. -Loved Ratcatcher 2 and her storyline, endearing stuff. -Good CGI, unlike the usual DC stuff. Yes, I still have nightmares of the 'Moustache' man. -Plenty of good comedic moments. -Action setpieces were enjoyable, well edited. -Viola Davis, really went off. No-one else could play Waller as well as she does. One of the best casting choices ever. All in all, this movie is pretty good time if you have a couple of hours to spare. Nothing special to warrant a trip to the theatres though.

Massively underrated!!! A brilliant story (time-travel based sci-fi romance), will keep you glued to the screen. Great acting throughout, particularly the leads. The chemistry between them is really something. Came across the film by a misclick. Turned out to be a "Happy accident". Definitely worth the watch.

Better Call Saul is in a lane of its own.It further expands the Breaking Bad universe and gives us more insight on many prominent characters in Breaking Bad. One of the most distinctive feature of this series is that it mixes humor and intense drama together in a rather interesting way which in turn keeps the series fresh.This show doesn't try to replicate Breaking Bad but is a different beast.It is,hands down,one of the best TV series ever.
