Overall it's good. I am sick of every show forcing gay storylines though. No I'm not a "homophobe". It's just obvious there is an agenda to push this stuff....anyway I didn't like Bradford at first but especially in season 2 he has gotten a lot better. I still don't care that much for Harper, but halfway through season 2 she's getting better. She and Bradford just are arrogant and mean at first. I also don't like how people poke fun at Nolan's age. Like we all age and it's really not that uncommon for people to change careers. They also make a point of humiliating the rookies during roll call. If they make a mistake, Grey makes it public and the other officers laugh. I would think that and making fun of Nolan's age would be an HR issue. If I was a rookie it would make me feel like I was in a hostile work environment and not even while patrolling

The characters are still true to themselves. The movie at times was confusing (especially in the beginning with young Lassiter in the woods and somehow his dad just vanishes). Chief Vick walking out on an interview just because she got handed evidence was disappointing to me. Why would they had her stuff in an interview? As others have mentioned, there isn't any of the typical Shawn hand to head stating visions. Also, didn't really explain motive of one of the villains they just all of a sudden were revealed to be the culprit. The scene with Mary was really bizarre too and not in a good way in my opinion. I don't know if they felt rushed or what but the movie didn't have the typical flow to it
