I started watching it because of brendan fraser but it developed into a show I hold dear and feel in tune with. I love it! It's totally my level of weird and comedy.

Cultural appropriation is great and all. But the whole movie for behind the stage was not asian. To top it off IT👏 DID👏 NOT 👏 FOLLOW👏 THE👏 ORIGINAL 👏. Some parts did follow the story. The actors too were A+ from jet li, ming na wen, gong li, and donny yen. Don't get me wrong they were amazing but the story being told could have been BETTER. I feel that everyone was expecting what made the movie. The songs, the comedy, and the actual terror of her being found out she's a girl. I was really expecting more, but this movie was just a mix of old era chinese movies with over hyped wanna be traditional new era values and script. This is just my opinion, but growing up with the cartoon Mulan and having it as a heroine figure, just crashed in an hour and forty five mins.
