After a long time, watched a movie that touched my heart. Very good story line and nice narration!

Such a beautiful craft! The underlying theme of the cinema and the way it portrayed is amazing. There is not a single dialogue or frame that seems unnecessary. AK ( Ayyappan koshiyum) failed to show justice to the theme by commercialising the climax, but director of Kala needs special mention for his courage to narrate the story as it is- the story of fear, pain, identify and power relations. And the protagonist is simply amazing. He is a promise to the cinema industry, but I fear to what extent his talent will be utilised by the so called Malayalam film industry!
