Just finished the season up, and honestly, this is a series that is just a shadow of its former self. The series at first seems to be towards kids, but then you have hints at cursing and death lots of death. I mean, more people died in the first episode than all the other shows combined. Animation style is good. batman's costumes resemble his old style that we saw at the beginning or flashbacks of the other animation. I personally don't like this style. The batmobile honestly is terrible, probably the worst one in the entire franchise. I'm going to give a perspective of someone not watching any of the other series. Story line, well, it's confusing. I don't want to give any spoilers, but there are a lot of scene where it seems they just cut out stuff. Like Harley coming back to life, there was no build up there was a call from a landline, and it didn't go into depth about her past and why she did it. This seems to be a common theme throughout the first season and it doesn't seem to be updated for the times. They did do gender swapping and race witch doesn't fit in with the story or makes sense. Overall a very cheap comparison to ther batman series

Considering the movie takes place in the reconstruction era. Where slavery has just been abolished. It shows how life changed in American especially in the family. ie is a classic and a true testimonial of Walt Disney. Most of the songs can be heard thru many Disney classics. To not show this movie is a disgrace to uncle Ramen's (James baskets) memory. This movie is less racist than most movies are today.
