initially you are drawn to the humor and loveability of Ted but then you stay for the amazing characters, the love, the intelligence and the ability to draw you into complex adult situations and relationships. It helps to have a working knowledge of 80's and 90's rom coms and TV shows to keep up with the one liners, however that is not a problem for me!
