Big budget doesn’t always lead to a good movie. I love Christopher Nolan but man did he miss the mark on this one. First, there was zero character development. I mean, they couldn’t get even give the main character a name. The way he tried to tie in a love story made it even less sense. The biggest issue I had with the film is he goes after this extremely complex concept but gives the viewer no real explanation. Even at one point in the move, a character explaining the concept to the main character says don’t try to understand it. Frankly, I did understand what he was trying to accomplish it which gave away the twist early on. It was a difficult movie to watch with how it was shot, just an overall miss. Inception was incredible. Tenet isn’t worth the price of home made popcorn.
