You're probably thinking of watching this show and maybe you're gettin convinced by the reviews, right? Well... DON'T DO IT! People gave high reviews because they're just addicted to cliffhangers, and Outer Ranger, by far, delivers the most exciting cliffhangers I've ever seen, it feels like the next episode you're gonna see a little piece of context or answer, but that doesn't happen at all... You beg for context and answers and they just deliver cliffhangers to keep you bingewatching this MEANINGLESS show. The strategy is simple: I'll start as a midwest ranch story, put some elements of sci-fi and will grow interest of the public by putting non-sense with the hope it could be explained but it never does. To give you a better look with no spoilers: first episode for example is a cowboy, the second he is actually an astronaut, in the third you find out that he could be a horse in a man's body, on the fourth you discover that his granddaughter is the queen of England and its actually older than him, and they never tie anything up, looking to take you for a fool... You understand now? This series is a bait... Reminds me of LOST, but manages to be worse, Lost still had character development, here they have nothing.

It's not bad, but it's DEFINITELY not good... As anything with Mario Casas, acting simply SUCKS, all mystery revolves in future events you could never predict. Only bright side is that is very well directed, the director finds a way to add the right spice of drama and suspense throughout the whole series. The plot is really poor too... Not bad, but poor... Overused elements and LOTS, LOTS of holes. If you are looking to watch a remarkable series, trust me, forget this overall rating and skip this one, it's not worth it... It's as simple and maniqueist as it could be. If you are looking for something to past the time and keep you entertained or if you are open to a story that only fully develops by the very end and don't mind watching without make sense, this show might be the answer... I gotta tell you, it kept me entertained, it kept me trying to guess and the drama even provoked some emotions, I don't regret time spent but I am pretty sure I will forget this show in two days from now it does not leave anybody WOW... It's the same old "yeah, it was ok..."

My most sincere kudos to the writer of the book and to the first season. The second season was not based on the novel, so I thought the story was going to suck, but I could not be more wrong! The mystery and suspense is even better than the first season, with a well-built plot. That being said, this series is very bad directed, poorly executed. The writers and the actors are absolutely amazing but the direction focus too much on the teen factors and the teen romances instead of this incredibly well-written mystery. If given more screen time, the plot and the suspense could be so, so much better. But of course, the streaming service is the worst, Netflix probably asked for it to have 15 minutes per episode talking about non-binary, neutral pronoms and all kinds of LGBT agenda instead of focusing on the good plot and good potential this show has. So bottom line, I recommend a watch, just be prepared for some boring teenie romance problems and agendas that occupies 40% of the screen time. And again, my sincere appretiation for the writers who could build such an original story with no books for the second season, for the adaptors of the first season and for the actors of Vanessa and Maeve, specifically, those people made this show amazing even with some down sizes.

Series are really good. It's not only a drama but a thriller that keeps you interested and wanting for more. More than that, it leaves you thinking at the end. It's not a quick-digesting movie. They also manage to keep building and building and building tension without ever releasing it until the very last episode which I found very satisfying, made me binge watch it without regrets and was worth it. Now, performances... The whole cast (except Carlo Baxter's actor) is SIMPLY AMAZING! Michael Stuhbarg, Hope Davis and Bryan Cranston were phenomenal, one of the best actings I have ever seen. Story is QUITE PROMISING and original. Now, I must point that this show is based on a Israeli TV Show named "Kvodo", with 2 seasons and 12 episodes each season (24 episodes). In "Your Honor", they condensed it to 10 episodes. So you can imagine that there is a lot of plot holes, which can be quite annoying, but bearable if you are a "forgiving" person. So I say it again: plot holes can be annoying and if you decide to watch it you must be aware that a lot of times you will be thinking with yourself: "That's non-sense... No way that can happen in real life" or "No way one can be THAT stupid" but the worse part is that they change reality about how things works at a court. Speed of criminal lawsuits, trials, hearings, interrogating witnesses not listed in the process... Many insults to our intelligence but again: IT IS WORTH IT. Once you know they condensed a 24 episode series into a 10 one and still managed to deliver a show that leave you applauding, you understand the pace they printed into the script and those many holes. Although it could have been a more linear, clear plot, they did a good job and the series is great in many ways. Highly recommended.

It's terrible. Story has a lot of plot holes. I guess it's made for dummies who believe anything. After studying the case, you can see the last chapter of the show did not reflect what actually happen or why the case was able to be solved. With any law expertise you can know it's impossible to convict someone only with another one's testimony and no proof. So, you watch six episodes to reach the conclusion that during the whole time in prison Jimmy did not collected a single solid evidence. But as any Dramerican idiotic show, things solves out with no explanation. It's really hard to like a show that presumes you have no brain.

First of all, I will list the negative parts of this show: - It has A LOT of writing continuation errors and plot holes... Dozens, really! - It has an AWFUL young teenage cast, people who can't act, really, that goes to Benjamin Burke's actor specifically. I don't know how anyone could approve that lad's performance in a test. - Sometimes it overlooks the viewer's intelligence, which can be quite boring. - The writers and producers have no experience, they don't know how to effectively build a series. It goes from a mystery series to a sci-fi in only one episode where they basically tell you what the city is about. - It is a sort of a cliche... First scene is a guy in a suit waking up with zoom on his eye in a different, strange land and in the woods, after a crash, just like LOST. It also has many other cliches. Ok, that being said... I loved this series, even with all those downsides, it has a lot of good content and it goes a good way. Sadly, it got cancelled, so don't expect any closure. Still, any SciFi fan will certainly enjoy it. I just finished the last episode and felt very sad because it was a very good story. Can't really talk about very much without handing out some spoilers, but I make a honorable mention to Hope Davis and Kacey Rohl for their absolutely awesome performances.

Pretty watchable show. If you're into "24" you will definitely love "Slow Horses". It is filled with action and "beat the clock" situations but doesn't go quite beyond that. If you like action movies made in the late 90's or something you will definitely LOVE "Slow Horses", even tho some things does not seem too realistic, they deliver lots of action. I was attracted by the show on the premise it was a "Spy Fiction", but there is nothing mesmerizing like if you are put to guess a mastermind plot or figure out a "game" or something like that, which I find quite disappointing. It is really good for passing time, but in the end of the day it is a quick digesting series, to watch and forget it. The great part is that is only 6 episodes, so they don't stall the scripts or the main plot and that is awesome. Original soundtrack by Mick Jagger also amazing! It's not my thing but it is definitely a must-watch for James Bond, Jason Bourne and Jack Bauer's enthusiasts, for sure. P.S: Oh yeah... Please ignore any reviews saying it's a "left wing propaganda"... Whoever commented this did not watch until the end, otherwise they would not be saying something so inaccurate... The reason they think that is because the first two episodes may lead you in that direction, but after that you can see clearly there is no propaganda intented and no "agenda" is pushed, they were misled and gave their opinion before finishing the series.

This series has a great first episode, but after it conquers your attention, like many other series, loses itself in the plot. The writers don't know where they are going and create subplots that go around in circle, never fulfiling any expectations and going downhill. Besides, the series is VERY SLOW, like.. Nothing happens for several episodes. The actors, though, deliver a great performance, all of the 4 main ones are simply amazing in their acting, Lauren, Toby Kebbel, Nell TIger Free and Rupert Grint are amazing and are not the ones to blame for this monotone and lost plot and script. The series doesn't quite decided if it is a mystery, a drama or an horror series but it failed in every one of these genres. It is clear that the writers don't know what to do with the plot and it is really disappointing. Unless you want to waste your time looking for answers that will never be delivered, do not watch it.

Anyone who likes this is totally insane... It is quite easy to create a bizarre story if you leave SO MANY PLOT HOLES and unanswered questions like this show did... It leads you to absolutely nowhere, there are several continuation errors, major underacting by the main character... Looks like it was written by a 10 year old... Quite bizarre. The good part is that is only 3 episodes, so you don't waste that much of your time.
