Fantastic gameplay, it really modernized the first one's and added some crucial new elements. Incredible acting, each character feels fully realized in their own personalities and motives. Stunning, awestriking visuals. The gap between cinematic animations and in-engine graphics is hairline thin. Heartbreaking, overwhelming, rich story. The themes of this story compliment the first in such a unique way. There is an enormous breadth of concepts and ideas introduced throughout but never to the point of feeling bogged down. The world is grim and bleak and rarely hopeful, but the times it is shine so, so brightly. Disagreeing with characters' actions doesn't make a poor story; it makes them real.
