I’ve been a swiftie since day 1 and I was SO excited for this album. I was excited to hear Taylor’s signature exquisite and poignant poetic story telling, but was sorely disappointed. This album has my stamp of “Meh”. Which is such a shame because I absolutely love every single song on the other albums. This era was promoted very well, but it was like seeing the curtain open to an empty room. There are some okay/goodish songs, but only about 6 out of all 31. Jack’s production seems to have run its course, sadly. I’m going to pretend this era doesn’t exist while we wait for some real Swiftian sonnets.
