When the Moon Winks, a very interesting and enticing Book that captured my attention from go. First, I always attempt to know something about the Author and see if I can relate to their background. However, I couldn't but decided to read this book anyway, while on Vacation in Mexico. None the less, I was blown away by her many accomplishments, and academic achievements. She's extremely intelligent and well-respected among her peer group. I am a simple minded reader that enjoys Mystery, Spy and other Gangsta type novels, on occasions, I am forced to read Text Books that requires studying, only to save my life. When the Moon Winks, became my companion while laying on the beach, sitting in the Airport or waiting for my Wife to let me know, it's OK to move. I finished this book in One Week, couldn't put it down until satisfying my need to know what happens next. My Wife knows i enjoy reading the books mentioned above and being curious as to what's up with this book began to ask questions, I told her "you need to read it",...living in Mooresville, NC and being new to this area I was able to identify with various parts and locations mentioned by the Author. I am now convinced we made the right decision to move here and will continue to watch for other Novels that makes me proud to be a fan of this Author.
