Calista Pardue

I'm sorry but aside from the beautiful animation, the movie didn't do the original screenplay justice. There were certain moments filled with emotion that were either overlooked and rushed or missed altogether and the attachment I had to this movie just wasn't there. It didn't feel as authentic. I didn't expect the songs to be sung nor composed the same but I guess I expected them to have the same core shaking tone to it and the characters just weren't the same either. I could nitpick at this movie for days but I'm mostly just sad that I expected too much I guess.
