I left the movie feeling depressed. Maybe that was the point. But it is basically a movie about a town full of drunk men mistreating young women. The only suspense was wondering how the girls would get out of there. There was one decent other character in the movie, the hotel cook.

To younger viewers this seems like a crude animation without color or clarity. But to us children of the 1950s and 1960s this means Christmas is around the corner. It seems that only those of use from around either Chicago or Johnstown, PA know about this (as well as the similar "Suzie Snowflake" because they were broadcast on WGN and WJAC.
