Everyone is free to make movies and art. And from that standpoint it's good and creative. The content however is pretty racist. The movie is left open to interpretation as to what the movie signifies but any way you cut it, it's racist. The "tethered" in red can be a metaphor for republicans, the lower class, or evil versions of themselves for being upper class in the movie. The point being that they must kill these "tethered" people aka kill republicans, white people, or our selfish selves in order for our country to be better. The other theory for the movie is that it's about the upper and lower class and how upper middle class people don't care about lower class people. So then you're still left with a tasteless movie trying to make you think that anyone white or doing well in life is somehow to blame in making you fail in life. It's the same rhetoric as the news except in a creative way. I'm Mexican btw and think this whole narrative against white republicans is awful.
