This seems like it was an excuse for the writers to portray their own kinks onscreen, and not really accurate to Dicken’s writings.
They really think this sells. It’s sad.
This might have been great entertainment for someone. But the title suggested a completely different target audience

It would be cooler without all the se*ual assault and creepy sex bits. Had to stop watching cuz yeah. Woah. Why do we let weirdos direct/write? The acting is otherwise great but this made for MANY unnecessary awkward moments
