This show was just plain disappointing and boring. There's not much "history", just a whole lot of filler, and people you've never heard of talking about how much they love swearing, with a side line of modern politics. It's far too America-centric and focused on American movies and music. The only highlight was Nicholas Cage, and there's just not enough of him to make it worth sitting through the other 95%. Watch the first episode if you must, it's the only good one.

Just another tired police procedural show. The main character is unlikable and aloof, spending way too much time just staring at people. As per normal for these shows he's always the smartest person in the room, which is demonstrated mainly by having him state the blindingly obvious, and reminding people that he's Jewish every five minutes. The color palette of blue and black is probably meant to imply seriousness and darkness, but the monotony becomes just boring and depressing. It's like a boring, sad depressing version of Criminal Minds.

It feels like a direct to DVD sequel. It relies way too much on nostalgia, literally including flashback clips of the original movie so many times I lost count. The meta jokes are just cringe worthy. The cinematography is very budget, it doesn't look like a Matrix movie. And the plot doesn't really make much sense either, it's just a string of points trying to tie a bunch of nostalgia moments together.
