Some loose ends and inconsistencies but a pretty good look at the attitudes and mores of folks around the turn of the (last) century. I have seen this movie 4-5 times but not for 10 years and was wondering if it has been edited? The ending where 'Coalhouse' gets killed seems rather ridiculous. Was there another version shot? Distributed?
