Udana Wijesuriya

Beautiful and magical. This movie start things slow and feels like it's dragging on. But it picks up pace half way through and surprises the audience who doesn't know the real story. Props to the child actors who does a fantastic job carrying the movie. Support actors truly become our friends and not fade away into the background. Two thumbs up.

An excellent adaptation which blows the Disney one out of the water. It's indeed very rare to see such faithful book-to-movie adaptations such as this. The cast is memorable and the story evokes emotion. One of the best family movies ever made.
