Not at all what I expected! I kept waiting for some Gotham-like or any kind of real comic relief! It never happened. The movie was solid and consistently dark til the end. I thought I was a thoughtful socially aware person but I have so much more to think about and reconsider now. It was powerful. The acting was superb!
