Sorcha Syrinx

I could barely make it halfway through the second episode. I did not get the impression that it was meant to be in a fantasy setting, so I was rather confused by the many federal and jurisdictional (not to mention ethical) laws the characters were breaking and it kept me too distracted from other plot points to remain interested. Too much reliance upon stereotypical, inauthentic tripe and little to no character development. Maybe it gets better a few episodes in, the cast were sure trying. I just couldn't stick with it.
