This show started out to a practical outlook on today's women, family structures and societal norms. But what it actually does is negatively portray independent woman who had fended for herself and her family for several years. Now the show depicts the absolute rubbish and unrealistic situations of how this mother- in law would react. Not only that, it also shows that just because two women have different options it can only turn out to be sour, vindictive and falling down to being cheap. This show should have been how shown how this society is not male dominated, patriarchal one but rather, it lowers it down to the category of distasteful masala fueled drama.
