Absolutely worth the price of admission (so to speak). This movie is a slow boil suspense following a family falling apart through diabolical desperation. For the most part the negative reviewers have no earthly idea what they are talking about. A number of the down votes I've seen have been due to the fact that they wanted heart pounding horror. If you actually take the time to read King and check the listed genre of the movie you won't be disappointed. If your favorite movie is "Child's Play" well then you're in trouble... for a multitude of reasons.
