I love this show--have subscribed to both Acorn TV and Britbox on Amazon so I can get all the seasons, which I've watched at least twice already. It's so delightful to have a show with a female lead who's over 50 and not a manipulative villain, just an actual complex human being. Written authentically and played brilliantly. Honestly, I watch British TV mostly for the portrayal of women, so much more likely to see well-rounded authentic female characters on BBC than anything made in the US.
