I just loved the show though it's somewhat predictable. It's at least entertaining, with some twists. I like the theme song, too. It sounds unique and sad to me. Loved Priyanka's and Richard Madden's actings. Loved their on-screen chemistry. I hope it has a good ending (since I at at episode 5).

I just finished it in three days (s1-3). I could not help it. It's a the best sci-fi I've ever watched for the last five years. I have watched movies since 1980s. For the last five years, it's difficult to find tv series that both started and ended well. Mostly I found it started well but went off rails after 2 or 3 seasons. I felt many times the story did not serve any purpose or meaning, purely for escapism. Many times it lacked depths and had many plot holes or discontinuity between seasons. Dark is not like that. It's a well rounded story that gave attention to details and continuity. It stimulated my thoughts and made me reflect on life behind its quotes and words. For some characters the story ended tragic but after the final season the explanation was acceptable within the realm of fiction. Dots were connected and not many dots were left open. It's rare to see something like this in the recent years due to many of series are just money grabbers or time grabbers. At the end, watching Dark was like being well served full meal and left being satisfied.

(Warning: contain spoiler). It started really well then it went off after Marcella found out the truth at the end of S2. I wish they didn't make Marcella went dark by associating it to Juliet, it could have been due to something else. It became too much to watch after that. From detective genre to spy like genre. I lost interest to watch S3. And to make a detective just believed in the result of hypnosis and acted on it without questioning/researching it further make the show hard to watch. Over time I grew frustrated woth Marcella's stubborness and the reliance of the series on hypnosis to inform about Marcella's past.

Unlike recent Holywood crime/detective movies, this movie is really getting into details and focusing on solving crimes. No unrelated scenes that irrelevant to the story. It's well acted and well written.

It keeps you guessing until near the end. The acts from both leads were great. It's direct, simple, and unexpected.
