Colquhoun writes beautifully. Clear, highly visual, richly emotional and unpretentious prose is used to tell an entertaining story that engaged me from the start. Being taken on a journey to a place, and a set of situations, I've never been, is always a pleasure, and Thicker Than Water was a delight. Highly recommended.
